Actor and Director
On stage, his show Les Magnifiques, a series of portraits of Franco-Tunisian Jews, was a huge success and earned him recognition from the public, the media and the entertainment industry. His career was launched.
In film, he made a name for himself in Coline Serreau’s Trois hommes et un couffin (1985), which earned him the César Award for Best Supporting Actor. Subsequently, his role in Ariel Zeitoun’s Le nombril du monde (1993) marked a departure from his usual comic roles.
In 2025, he starred alongside Michèle Bernier and Caroline Anglade in Baya Kasmi’s series Le Parfum du Bonheur.
Alongside his acting career, he has directed several feature films, starting with the comedy Père et fils (2003). He then directed the films 3 amis (2007) and Le cœur en braille (2016).
Today, he enjoys performing on stage under the direction of Anne Bouvier in Toute la famille que j’aime at the Théâtre des Variétés.

Her filmography is distinguished by a wide variety of forms and genres, ranging from auteur cinema to international productions, from thrillers to comedies, demonstrating a consistent ability to adapt to diverse cinematic styles.
A member of the American Cinema Editors and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Sylvie Landra also engages in a dialogue with other artistic fields through collaborations with contemporary artists such as Tobias Rehberger and JR.
